Susan Boyle, AIA Principal
Before forming BOLA with Rhoda Lawrence, Susan was a founding principal of Boyle Wagoner Architects for 14 years. She holds a B. A. Art History and an M. Architecture, both from the University of Washington. She leads multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects, and provides the strong management, insights and communication skills required for public and community-based work.
Susan enjoys involvement in design consultation and strategic planning for historic development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, and is the primary contact on many of the firm's historic survey and assessment projects for both public and private owners and project managers.
She is a former member and chair of Seattle's Landmark Preservation Board, past board member and president of the Seattle Architectural Foundation, and an active member of the local chapter of DoCoMoMo (Documentation and Conservation of the Modern Movement).
